Mountain View Eco Farm is the perfect destination for anyone seeking an authentic Nepalese experience. From the moment you arrive, you become a part of Govinda’s family, instantly feeling at home. Location: Nestled peacefully on the hillside above Begnas Lake, the farm is surrounded by family-cultivated fields and offers a breathtaking view of the Annapurna mountains. The serene environment creates an ideal escape. Accommodation: While the rooms are simple and clean, you'll hardly notice, as you'll be fully immersed in farm life. Whether helping with daily tasks or simply marveling at the stunning scenery, there's always something to keep you engaged. Food: The meals, prepared by Chetana, are nothing short of exceptional. She’s a talented cook, and all ingredients are fresh, directly sourced from the farm without processing. This is where I discovered the difference between "hot" and "spicy," and learned to appreciate the latter. Family-Friendly: We stayed with our two children, and Govinda went out of his way to make them feel welcome. He even made a little swing for them upon our arrival. His son, who speaks excellent English, was incredibly friendly, ensuring our daughters were never bored. Final Thoughts: Mountain View Eco Farm was the highlight of our stay in Nepal, and the experience is one we will never forget.

What I truly appreciated about my stay was the hotel's fresh, clean feel – it made for a very comfortable environment. The pool, especially at night, was a highlight, offering a relaxing escape. My top-floor room with the large balcony was a real plus, giving me a private outdoor space. The in-room amenities were just right, and the staff's hospitality was excellent. Excellent experience. The hotel is at foot distance from main turistic street in the town and the room was cleaned and nice (also providing daily extra cleaning). Rich and excellent breakfast. Very good check-in experience with very welcomming, prepared and kind personnel. Definitely recommended.

Perfect location with lake view and few minutes from the centre of Pokhara, but very quiet! The owner is very nice and gives a lot of advices on trekking. He arranges taxis and free storage, which we were very grateful for. The room is clean and nice, shower is hot and the balcony is lovely. Breakfast is also very good!
