We had an excellent stay here!!! The location is right by the bus station and very handy for getting to shops, restaurants and bars. The manager (Paul) is a great guy who will help you out with anything you need and is great to chat to. He organised for our laundry to be done while we went hiking for a very small fee. The breakfast is fantastic 👌!!! I think whoever makes the guacamole is part Mexican....

JP is an amazing host: he super friendly, always laughing and providing his guests with the best breakfast. The room is big and the bed comfortable. Additionally you ll have company of two dogs that are lovely as well as some goats and sheep! we just loved it at amazi !

The accommodation is located less than 1 km from the asphalt road and approximately the same distance to the lake, the shop and the café. It has only 3 eco cabins, shared toilets and showers. Nicely maintained garden, beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff and very good cuisine. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. It's a very nice place, I can only highly recommend it.

Amazing place to stay in Kibuye. The staff is awesome and the place to have breakfast great. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a restaurant near by which was delicious and a perfect spot for sunset. I took a treatment at the spa which was one if the best i‘ve ever had. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I have just spent 3 fantastic nights in Umutozo lodge. The location is genuinely breathtaking, on the shores of lake Kivu. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel totally at home. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly. I can honestly say I have never stayed at a place that has such a joyful, communal feel to it. I had read that dinner is served communally and as a reserved Englishman I wasn’t sure if I liked that idea but in reality it was truly lovely. It gave my family and I an opportunity to meet fellow travellers from around the world and it made the whole experience so homely. We loved it. The owner Phillipe is extremely hands on and a wonderful host. A very interesting, humble man, it was a pleasure to meet him. Similarly Eric, the hotel manager is someone my family and I will never forget. A lovely man and very helpful. I would highly recommend visiting Rwanda and any visit to Rwanda would not be complete without a stay at Umutuzo lodge. To all the team, thanks for making our stay so special

Stunning views and a luxurious room. I had a major issue with a lost GPS and hotel manager Didos jumped to help me find it again immediately! He's a life saver and massively appreciated him being there to help me.
