Can recommend to anyone travelling around. We always stay for just one night on our way to Lofoten/Nordkapp but it's just what one needs to rest after a long roadtrip across the whole Sweden from the very south.

Laplanders rooms provides accommodation situated in Kiruna, 39 km from Esrange Space Center and 4.1 km from Kiruna Folkets Hus.

Hotell Samegård is located in central Kiruna. Free Wi-Fi access is available, as well as rooms with a flat-screen TV. Kiruna Train Station is an 8-minute walk away.

It's basically a hostel with private, ensuite rooms and is priced accordingly. Don't expect a 5☆ hotel. It is very comfortable and we felt very at home there. Is run by the local Sami organisation, with a great museum downstairs. Breakfast included in the price, functional rather than elaborate but perfectly adequate. Friendly, well stopped shop nearby, also a cheap Thai Grill Canteen and a more expensive English style gastro pub. Had a good meal in both.

Location is located in old town and very lovely place. Staff was so helpful and changed my room right away after I told her about the room she gave to me was not clean at all. Also, she transferred to a double room without any extra charges. Breakfast was normal. But good taste.

Really nice experience. The host Stefan is the best. He is very helpful. We will be back soon. The location is perfect for exploring the northern part of Norrbotten (Swedish Lapland). We went to Abisko (twice), Nikkaluokta, Kebnekaise, Jokkmokk, Karesuando, Kaaresuvanto (Finland) and Narvik (Norway) - and other places. We really enjoyed the midnight-sun experience that you can get above the polar circle at summertime.

The hut was right next to the frozen lake which had the most amazing views of the northern lights when they were viable. It was so peaceful and quiet, I would recommend having a vehicle as it makes things easier, but I do believe they offer pick ups and drop offs. The trips we booked with stefan with perfect and he is an amazing host
