This hostel seems brand new with newly tiled showers and private bathrooms. The showers are very hot. The kitchen is large and set up perfectly for self-service and lots of space for storing your own food. The lounge areas are a popular place to sit quietly or visit with other guests. I was pleasantly surprised to meet all age ranges including quite a few retired people like myself. People from all over the country who were very interesting. I would be happy to LIVE HERE FULL TIME. I arrived late from Tijuana airport at 3 AM. The receptionist was so nice with me and gave me something to eat. I woke up after breakfast had finished, but the housekeeper, Yolanda, fixed me a nice breakfast and coffee. The art work and decor both inside and outside is amazing. Photos don't do it justice. I will return here on my next visit.

An amazing property - we had the 2 bed condo and it was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. Good area which is a walk away from Little Italy and in a car 15 mins away from most places. There is free off street parking behind the apartments (one road is on a slant but the road directly behind has spaces and is flat). Great place to stay can highly recommend.

Well in Europe when you see 2 stars hotel you don't have high expectations. But in this case we felt here better than in the 5 stars hotel we were staying in Las Vegas. I am not an often traveler to US and have chosen very carefully the location and it was top. Next to the ocean, were I could jog in the morning and walk in the evenings, safe and with one of the best restaurants in the San Diego area. The room was like new and very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed including complimentary expresso in our room. The service was outstanding and every morning we used the expresso machine at the reception - again free of charge and there were good options for a lights breakfast, for a very reasonable price. Staff was very polite and helpful. Yes there is a train passing nearby, but it was not noisy at nights. Free parking at the property was very comfortable also.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood with easy parking and a lovely view over San Diego. There are plenty of services and shops nearby, which made everything very convenient. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, from kitchenware to household essentials. All instructions were clearly documented, which made our stay even smoother. We truly felt at home and would definitely love to come back!

Of course it is not cheap due to its outstanding location ( however I stayed in one of the single rooms which were far more expensive than the dorms) but it is super clean, very authentic, well self organized and the staff is very nice. Perfect accommodation for young people traveling on their own.

The art everywhere is gorgeous! There are also lovely plants & good lighting. Definitely the prettiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were friendly & professional. Breakfast is basic - cereal, fruit, and tea & coffee but better than what we were expecting. Beds were comfortable. There was a little shelf, light, plug & 2 usb ports at each bed. Location was ideal. Bathrooms were basic but very clean.

My partner and I stayed in the double bed dorm room, cheaper than other options in the city and a great way to still have privacy with the sectioned/curtained bed areas. The hostel had great showers and a room providing hair dryer/straightener etc, good social areas, and was very clean. The location was great, close to Petco Park and lots of cafes/restaurants near the gaslamp area. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
