Loved our stay here. The woman at reception was super friendly and welcoming. We had some great chats throughout our stay. When we arrived, we had booked a room that you needed to entire via the back alley. But because of how muddy it it was back there and the recent bear activity she moved our room, free of charge, to the second floor. Complementary wine and homemade cookies were great. Lots of fun playing board games and having a drink while it snowed. Room was comfortable and very clean. Also very close to the Main Street.

Offering ice climbing, hiking, whitewater rafting and summer canyoning opportunities, this lodge is just 0.5 miles from Ouray town centre and 5 minutes’ walk away from Ouray Hot Springs pools.

The view was WONDERFUL. Exactly what we were looking for. It was a beautiful location with the most amazing views. It was cold while we were there, but the fire in the back was nice way to spend a few minutes outside even if it was snowing and pretty cold on our night there. The room is well thought out and maintained nicely. I would stay here again in a heart beat and hopefully will be next year at Christmas again :) Side note - if staying Christmas, bring your own food and snacks along. The town closed quite early and there was not a lot of choice after 3pm. But, it was Christmas Eve... And we loved every minute here!!!!!
