The owner Tom, his family and the volunteer were super friendly. I felt very welcomed and like staying in a homestay. I really enjoyed my stay. Tom helped me with no extra costs to find a bus to the next city, organised me a cheap scooter and even invited me to join their family dinner. The hostel was clean, has hot water and big warm blankets. It's small, so you can easily connect with other guests and I felt like coming home when I returned in the evenings. The bathroom had enough toilets and sinks. Location is also great, near the lake and a supermarket.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right next to Lam Vien square. Found out the hotel is only 6 months old, no wonder everything is spanking new. The owner was really nice and kept offering us biscuits and tea. She doesn’t speak English but with translator we got by and she was always very smiley. She also was understanding when we asked to leave early in the morning to see the sunrise and got up to open the door. (Ask the day before) The room was well equipped and the terrace had a good view also.
