In der Nähe der in Castro in der Region Chiloe Island gelegenen Unterkunft Estación Hostel befindet sich Church of San Francisco. I highly recommend staying at Estación Hostel. It's a quiet and clean place with private rooms in a great central location. The kitchen is spotless, and there's a cosy common room with a fireplace. The host Sandro speaks English and was very easy to communicate with. I planned to stay only two nights, but I ended up staying twelve! The island is beautiful, but what really made me stay longer were the amazing hosts. Every day, they helped me plan a new tour so I could see a different part of the island. They were so kind and made sure all my wishes were taken care of—even helping me see a pudu! Thank you so much for everything!

I want to thank Pamela for the hospitality, my friends and I felt like at home. Pamela is kind, interesting in communication person, she recommended us a really delicious place to have dinner in the city (I recommend you ask too!). After visiting the oceanfront park, we returned for another night. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, the shower is excellent, there is plenty of space on the veranda to enjoy the view of the bay and the city. Basic but excellent breakfast, fast internet. And if you love cats and dogs, you will definitely like this place. It's not a problem at all that the house is far from the city center — public transport runs often and is cheap. I recommend this place with all my heart! That's what we needed to rest between hiking and moving between cities.
