Very helpful staff. Just a few minutes walk to the plaza, restaurants and taxi stand. Bus station is about 5 minutes. The staff were exceptionally helpful over the phone and during our stay.

Edgardo et David m'ont fait me sentir chez moi dans leur hostel: ils sont tout 2 très attentionnés, d'une gentillesse incroyable et plein de bons conseils sur les activités à faire à Vicuña et autour. Ils donnent de bons conseils de resto aussi 😉!!! L'hostal est vraiment propre, pratique (la cuisine est top, on a de la place dans les dortoirs.. Ils ont même un sèche cheveux bien pratique en hiver !!!). Tout était parfait !!!

If you want to stay in the heart of the Elqui Valley and be nearly as remote as one can be while still having incredible WiFi - this is the spot! We spent one night here but should have booked more. The only tricky piece about this spot is getting here off the main road. While it isn’t a far distance you really should have 4WD. The road is tight and severe switchbacks. You also need to bring in food with you especially if you don’t have a car. Each unit is exquisitely designed to allow you to cook dinners indoors or out with a regular sized fridge and freezer to boot. To say this place is magical might be a vast understatement. We spent the late afternoon hiking up to the scenic lookout (although each unit has its own incredible views and privacy for late nights in the hot tub). We spent the next 2 hours by the pool which given how hot it is actually had cool water for swimming and lovely shaded lounge chairs. We brought in drinks and a pizza with us for our evening and it was perfect. We turned off all the lights and just sat outside watching the moon rise over the mountains as the sunset. After we spent hours soaking in the hotel tub watching more stars appear in the sky. Just magical! The interior is well appointed too with great bedding, linens, towels and vegan shower products that smelled and felt like luxury after having traveled for so long. For breakfast the following morning, we were brought a delicious selection of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, croissants, cheese and more! Each unit it also outfitted with a tea pot, tea, a moka coffee maker and ground coffee! If we ever have the chance to come back to the Elqui Valley we will 1000% book this spot again! Also - be sure when in the area to book the 3 hours tour and wine tasting at vinedos de alcohauz! The guide essentially gave us the entire history of the area from different stops along the tour that changes in elevation 5 times! The vineyard is magnificent.

The building is newly renovated and spacious, the place is clean, and the pool is perfect for the heat. The apartments face a common area which is pretty, but you may hear other people staying there. But overall, was amazing.

The valley is stunning and the night sky amazing. The cabañas are so aesthetically beautiful and comfortable. The host was so helpful and friendly.

La barrière de la langue n’a pas été un problème. Les lits sont très confortables, les chambres douillettes et les petits déjeuners excellents. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir se préparer nous même à manger dans une jolie salle à manger avec une cuisine Les chambres sont construites dans des Algeco : c’est une démarche très écologique de recycler , bravo pour l’aménagement de la terrasse. Très belle vue. Très calme.

Beautiful mountain hideaway with pool. Quiet and tranquil, with birds singing . Comfortable bed. Good place to look at stars. Great breakfast prepared by Claudio who is a wonderful host.

En Cabañas Caballieri todos los bungalows presentan un diseño unico, decoración diferente con artesanias y construccion en materiales nobles, con muros en Cuarzo , Piedras , Barro , Fierro y Maderas o... Beautiful place to stay! Cabana was very comfortable and has all amenities you need! Locked parking and the property is very safe. Staff is so friendly and helpful. We loved it so much, we extended our stay 3 days!! Location is great too with beautiful views of the valley. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Chile!!
