I had an absolutely incredible stay at Cruz Roja in Leticia, easily the best experience of my entire trip in Colombia! The staff here are simply amazing—friendly, funny, and always willing to help. They made everything easy and enjoyable, from modifying my booking dates to storing my belongings while I traveled deeper into the jungle. They helped coordinate with a tour agency, which was a huge plus. Each morning, they cooked delicious meals, and we had great and easy conversations over breakfast. Their kindness and warmth made me feel at home, and I truly appreciated their care and attention. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are very spacious with air conditioning—an absolute necessity in the Amazon! One detail I particularly loved was the adjustable lighting in the rooms, allowing you to switch between cold and warm tones. Small things like this really make a difference. Just keep in mind, like everywhere in the Amazon, there is no hot water—but that's to be expected. The location is convenient, just a short drive from the airport, and while it's not the most walkable area due to an open field separating it from the city center, tuk-tuks are cheap and fast. Getting around Leticia is very easy, as it's a small town. Another reason to stay here: the hotel contributes part of its profits to the Red Cross Foundation. So by staying here, you're also supporting a great cause. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making my stay in Leticia unforgettable! If you're visiting the Amazon and want a comfortable, welcoming place with amazing hospitality, I highly recommend Cruz Roja.

Die Unterkunft Nomada Hostel in Leticia bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten nur für Erwachsene mit einem Garten, einer Gemeinschaftslounge und einer Bar. Jonathan is a really pleasant host and the vibe of the place is cool! Rooms are clean and bed comfy, and big plus for the shated kitchen! Also every morning through out the day there was coffee at the jardín and places to hang around.

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Fairness und das ist bei diesem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wirklich gegeben und verdient 10/10 Punkten :)

I was made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived, including the offer of breakfast at the property. The cabin is a short walk from town and so is lovely and peaceful. I so enjoyed reading my book in the hammock and watching the birds that came past. Would definitely recommend going to see the sloths and doing some bird watching while you are here.

Aside from a few bugs in the room (but that's unfortunate, it's the Amazon), everything else was fantastic! I loved the friendly host and the adorable animals! (In the morning you will be woken up by the sound of birds chirping and monkeys running on the roof.)

Absolutely beautiful property with a clean pool area. We were surprised with a welcome drink and the staff were super lovely!! All our travel and tours were organised very efficiently. Especially the Mundo Amazonico Tour is highly recommendable but you should speak Spanish. However one of us didn’t and still enjoyed the tour.

Very nice room on the first floor, and very clean as well together with bathroom. The highlight was the tours organized by Leo which were quite fun and affordable. Definitely a recommendation if traveling to Leticia/Puerto Nariño.
