My favourite beach stay! Staff were lovely. Location was incredible, right on the beach. Lots of chill out spots to relax on the sand, the shade of a magnificent tree. The Italian food was incredible!! Rooms were very clean! I wish could have stayed longer, but I will definitely go back!

Location was top notch, only a 2 minute walk from the beach. Pool area is great and was very clean. Unit was very clean. Compound felt very secure.

The location was amazing, room were basic but they had private washrooms and air conditioners to keep cool. Lots of shelving to keep clothing and belonging organized. super cheap to have them wash some clothes, it was around $3 usd per kilo. loved the hammocks in the common area. all the tables were great for playing games while having a drink, very laid back vibe. the fridge in the room was fantastic.

We loved the breakfasts! Something different prepared every day, they bring in chefs, everything is very tasty and beautifully presented. A very intimate setting too, great for chatting to other guests and the host, Jenna, who was enthusiastic and attentive.
Loved the hammock chairs, beautifully placed for watching the sunset.
Room was very clean and was kept very clean during our stay.
Only about a 15 min stroll into town (I think quite a few reviews put this as a downside but it’s an easy walk), quiet location.

My best decision was to stay at Hotel Boruca, the staff was always friendly and they welcomed us and helped us with a smile. The room was very clean and carefully decorated. The price is very good for the Tamarindo area and it's location worked very well for us, we gone to the beach, visit restaurants, we was only have to walk 200 meters. Definitely if I return to Tamarindo, I will return to this hotel.

I loved everything about this space. My budget room was small but perfect for my stay. I loved cooling off in the dipping pool before bed each night. Great location … 5 minutes to walk to all restaurants, beach and shops but also not right in the middle of all the late night music etc.
