Probably the nicest place we’ve stayed at during our travels in Cape Verde. There was coffee, tea and water to welcome us. Irina was easily reachable via WhatsApp and sent a very nice driver for us to the airport who then became our tour guide for a day.

The place was exquisitely decorated and had lovely spaces outdoors for enjoying a morning tea or an evening swim. The staff were exceptional, especially Leena. I was asked if I needed any laundry washed and had this service provided free of charge. There is also a great little kitchen area for meal preparation if you are staying in a room that is not the deluxe apartment. Close proximity to everything you need in the downtown region: local market, restaurants, bakery, coffee. Could not recommend more. I will absolutely return.

Our room was clean, chic, and spacious, as was the whole hotel. It’s centrally coated, but not too loud at night. Close to the marina, restaurants, and markets (clothes, fresh produce, fish). Nice roof deck for reading or sunning. We even used the hot tub. The service was very friendly and professional, from front desk (thank you, Vanderleigh and Elody and more!) to the kitchen staff, doormen, and housekeeping. We appreciated the friendly vibe and the tour that was organized for us.

Delicious breakfast (and also dinner) is a big plus. We really enjoyed the atmosphere during the meals. This place definitely has a charm - we had a feeling that we come to a visit of an old friend. Maybe I will start learning French to be able to have a live chat with JP next time - without google translate :)

The location is excellent, and we loved the roof terrace with its beautiful views over Mindelo. Our room was equipped with both a/c and a fan, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was spotlessly clean. Christophe was a great host and Cristina was especially helpful with making restaurant reservations and arranging a taxi. We would definitely recommend staying here!
