A really nice very old building that has been beautifully restored. Nice to walk into an outdoor courtyard with bar attached and have a refreshing beer after a long bike ride and before we even got into our room. The hostess (Sarah is her English equivalent name) was so helpful. Very close to town square where there is a great restaurant. Nice breakfast left in room for us to self cater. So happy to have found this gem.

From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels in Prague. And the Penzion v Chaloupce was one of my very best experiences ever! :D Beautiful, lovely decorated house in green residential area and a big and very clean room, very big shower! Very friendly owners, SUPER breakfast with fresh and high quality food from a large selection!!! :D Well working WiFi, free parking on secure ground. The apartment is excellent—very spacious and fully equipped. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner, including a stove, kettle, coffee machine, pots, plates, cutlery, and more. A lovely park is close by, and within a 3-minute walk you’ll find a shopping mall with a Costa Café, a Bila supermarket, and many other stores. I stayed for 5 nights but could easily imagine staying for a month. Public transportation is available nearby, though the city is compact and very walkable—I mostly went everywhere on foot. As for parking: on weekends it’s free in the designated spaces on Habrmanova Street, and on Nerudova Street parking is free at all times.
