Breakfast was very nice, we stayed for 3 nights and it changed a little every day. The property is approx 4/5 dollar taxi ride to Tena. We visited Laguna Azual twice during our stay. We got a taxi there and returned back on the public bus to Tena at 5:30pm from Laguna Azual. We had hoped to visit the beautiful waters which were very local to the hotel via bus but didn't manage to fit it in. We also go the bus back from Misahuailli to the hotel (make sure to take the canoe ride - def highlight), so the hotel is convenient in other ways despite being in a more isloated spot. The rooms are beautiful and grounds beautifully kept, with a small pool. WE never had dinner in restuarant instead enjoyed eating at Laguna Azual and having a snack in Tena in the PM. THere is one FANTASTIC value authentic souvenir shop in Tena, well worth going to, prices very reasonable and already priced so no haggling and a beautiful local ceviche restuarant that serves popcorn with all soups acrocss th e road from shop. Yum!

Family room on 3rd (top) floor had beds for 6, balcony around apartment had chairs and 2 hammocks. Bathroom inside had sink and shower with good pressure and warm water. Toilet is dry-compost in separate open air private room, adjacent to front door of room on same floor. This separate building behind main house about 40 yards is up in the jungle, with all the accompanying great sounds at night. Bring ear plugs or wakeup with roosters/dogs at 5am. Excellent breakfast included at 8am - eggs, croissant rolls with butter/jam, bowl fresh fruit, fruit juice and hot chocolate (or coffe/tea). Toni arranged/guided our family of six (with another single guest) on an amazing Napo River Tour, 9am-5pm: 1. indigenous village visit. 2. River boat ride 3. tasty burritos for lunch and chocolate making 4. visit to Amazoonica animal shelter (monkeys, anaconda, birds, caiman, tapirs) 5. Tube down tributary. Toni was excellent guide, very informative of local area.

Die Unterkunft Banana Lodge mit Gartenblick in Puerto Misahuallí bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich, einer Gemeinschaftslounge, einer Terrasse und... an absolutely wonderful lodge. very clean, very comfy, very quiet. it has all you may need: breakfast, but also a guest kitchen, laundry service, the host was extremely helpful as we had booked a wrong room first but it was no problem at all. the rooms are really beautiful and spacious as well as the garden that is made with lots of love and cute corners to relax. and we really liked that it lies a short walk outside of the center piazza of the mini city of Misuahulli. 10 out of 10 recomend:)

This place is amazing! The people are lovely, all the green around, you hear jungle sounds all day long, love it! The room was very spacious, complete with mosquito nets. The food was so delicious. The kids adored the two little puppies and the cat (me too), we just left and already miss them. It was my oldest son's birthday and they arranged a birthday cake. Everything was perfect and I totally recommend going there!

The apartment looks exactly like the photos on Booking—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged. Israel, our host, was warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. There was always plenty of hot water, and while we only made coffee, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The apartment is located in a fairly quiet area, making it easy to get a good night's rest. Like many places in Ecuador, you might hear the occasional barking dog, but it was never disruptive or constant. I woke up feeling refreshed every day. One highlight of our trip was visiting the nearby Botanical Garden “Las Orquídeas”—a must-see. Be sure to take the guided tour to fully appreciate the 25-acre rainforest conservatory and its incredible biodiversity. In short, I highly recommend staying here—this is a top-notch apartment in a perfect location for exploring Puyo.
