Pyramisa Resort is a few minutes sailing to Agha Khan Mausoleum and centre shopping area. All 450 rooms and suites enjoy exotic panoramic views of the Nile, the mountains, tropical gardens, swimming-pools. Our spacious and comfortable rooms are nicely furnished with all modern facilities and Spa. The property was AMAZING! I am so glad we found this place, it was the perfect place to come to after a busy couple of days in Cairo ☺️ We loved everything. The food was delicious, the whole place was super clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Our room was also upgraded which was a real treat! The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. Our veranda was overlooking the Nile River so we got to see an amazing sunset. There are also shops on site which were perfect as we did not have time to go into town to do any shopping. I bought perfumed and oils and the lovely shopkeeper was so helpful. If we are ever able to come back to Aswan we will definitely stay here again. JJ guesthouse is a wonderfull place. The all family is welcoming, and always smiling. You will feel like home. The rooms are spacious, fully equiped (AC, fridge etc) and beds are very confortable. The house is perfectly located with an amazing rooftop with Nile view. On the rooftop the best chef of Aswan will take care of you and served you delicious breakfast. We could wash our clothes here, wich was usefull. Do not look for another place, book here and you wont regret it. We were really lucky to be there and we hope we will come back one day. Sherief was exceptional: extremely attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. He took the time to suggest and help us organize visits, shared great local tips, and was always available when we needed anything. He was incredibly accommodating to all our needs and really made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms are very unique with domed ceilings, the showers are hot (which has been hard to find on our trip), and Omar is a very communicative host. Omar is also a great cook and eating breakfast and an extra dinner at the guesthouse was great. The beds are also comfortable and rooms cool. While the guesthouse is on an island, the ferry only costs 10 EGP / person (December 2024) and leaves often. Then it’s a few minute walk to the guesthouse, really simple and easy.
