The location was perfect. Just a few minutes to the train station. There were direction arrows all the way from the station pointing you to the property. The room had everything especially for those who like to prepare their own meals. There were food spots all around so one had many choices. The staff were very polite and helpful, very smooth checkin and checkout.

I have stayed in many 5-star hotels and this one, in terms of the room in particular, matches or exceeds them all. As others have noted, the Art’otel team seem to have though of every little detail in order to make you stay as high quality as possible. The breakfast is worth a special mention. It’s simply amazing quality. It’s not a buffet, but the three courses will set you up exceptionally well for the day. Location is also excellent — it’s only a brief 5-minute walk to Old Street station, which will whisk you into central London in a couple of stops. Alternatively, you can take a longer but enjoyable walk down to Liverpool Street station and jump on there, or carry on walking and take yourself into the City. I could write a lot more about all the little details that make this hotel so impressive, but will stop here and simply urge you to come and see for yourself. You won’t regret it!

Warm comfortable and very inviting. The furniture was good quality with plenty of storage and as I had booked 4 rooms for a group of 4 females we appreciated the fact we were in a long line with just a room between us. The rainfall shower was fabulous. Lots of piping hot water and the towels were lovely and soft. Breakfast is not available on the premises but there were more than adequate tea and coffee provided and also a pain au chocolates and a tub of porridge per person and also two bottles of water which were very welcomed. This was a lovely venue for outlet girly do. Many many thanks.

The real shining star of the trip was the hotel Staff. Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. It was our first stay at the Halyard and we can’t wait to return.
