A very cosy little place to stay in a quaint friendly village. The accommodation was perfect, and the host Elizabeth was so lovely that it felt like we were staying with family. The breakfast was top class and served in lovely relaxed surroundings. Will definitely come back here

Delightful and authentic little inn off the beaten track, with pleasant tiny beergarden and lovely and superhelpful owners. We came on a Friday evening and the pub/restaurant filled with a lively crowd of young and old, enjoying a good chat, the tasty food, playing darts...interaction was easy and we had fun playing Pool. Good parking, rooms were very clean, great beds, good shower, very nice breakfast, and we got a wealth of useful information on what to do in the region. Forgot an item in our room - it was kept safe until we went back a week later and could pick it up!

Crosskeys cottage is a lovely cottage, nicely decorated, with everything we needed for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. The provisions left were a nice touch. There is a great view of the hills from the back of the house and the garden. The location is good for visiting Cardiff and walks and mountain biking in the nearby hills and forest park.
