Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

They make little cakes during the day so you can have a sweet treat and the staff is lovely.

Impeccable staff - the Spanish lady in the reception especially was amazing! Breakfast selection was nice and fresh! Location was close to everything, a Tesco right in front, bike rental shop, cute little stores, etc. Quaint rooms - lovely view of the town! Facilities - the outdoor hot tub was great!

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. We stayed in the cottage on the property and it was fabulous very modern and cosy.It was spotlessly clean,bathroom had spa bath and walk in shower and a lovely lounge area upstairs.Great location and plenty of parking space available.Hosts were very friendly and accomadating. I would highly recommend to stay here.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Absolutely everything, the professionalism of the staff, the amazing scenic view from the room (number 1 and number 3 as we decided to stay an extra night), the amazing bed. They were also very accommodating with our dog, and the dog walk around the hotel is marvellous! The restaurant food was also really great! And so was the breakfast! Thank you
