The dorm room was spacious and had good ventilation. The bunk beds were comfortable, and each bed had its own power socket and towel. The bathrooms were spotless and fully stocked with essentials. The hostel is in a quiet area, but a 10-minute Grab ride takes you to the train station. Lila was very welcoming and helped me book transport to Yogyakarta. Highly recommended for backpackers looking for comfort without breaking the bank!

The Ijen Crater tour was incredible, with stunning views and a well organized trip. Highly recommend it!

ZZZ Ijen Hostel ligt in Banyuwangi, op 15 km van Watu Dodol, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. I loved basically everything about this property! Great location, very clean, comfy room with aircon, well priced, extremely friendly and helpful staff. You can buy food/snacks for a reasonable price and they have free coffee and tea as well as hot and cold filtered water. Has a nice little balcony where you can watch the rain. Not incredibly social, but it’s also off season so I can’t imagine there would be anywhere more social in the area to be honest. Was clear about the fact that the blue fire at Ijen would not be available the days we were there and the staff was not pushy at all about buying tours, just very helpful. Honestly one of the best price to experience ratios I’ve ever gotten at a hostel, and the perfect place to chill or prepare for a hike. Also one of the cutest cats I’ve ever seen if my life lives here, she is friendly and very funny.

The room is not big but nice, and I can use the kitchen, washing machine. I love the neighborhood too as it is in front of a rice paddle, so calm and nice.

Ninap hostel is gelegen in Banyuwangi, op 20 km van Watu Dodol, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.
