I did and love the enginuity of it. We planned our first night at Ghost town because it's close to the airport, the bridge between two continents, the blue lagoon and the active volcano. Perfect for starting your adventure across iceland or if you only have a day or 2 layover. It was the perfect start to our 2 week adventure. 😀 Thank you guys

Featuring a private entrance, the apartment allows guests to maintain their privacy. My husband and I were so delighted with our recent relaxing stay at the luxurious Bay View Apartments. It definitely exceeded our expectations! The hosts have done an amazing job with this incredibly well appointed get away. Everything we needed was right at hand. It was well stocked with coffee, tea, cooking spices and wine and champagne were available. The decor, along with the view was gorgeous. There is a well stocked grocery store nearby and the airport is a mere 15 minutes away. There was easy communication with the host who was very friendly and thoughtful. They had the hot tub filled and ready for us upon check-in and even gave us a shout to let us know there were amazing Northern Lights happening one evening. We are already planning our next visit back and cannot recommend it highly enough!

I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!
