The location is superb, just on the main road and surrounded by mountains. We were lucky to get a room with a balcony and we had unobstructed views all around. The hotel has all facilities like an elevator, outside and underground parking for cars .The breakfast was sumptuous with many options for sweet or savoury. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and beds were comfortable. Katya was very informative regarding everything that we asked her and offered us good suggestions. The hotel does not have dinner or lunch options, but there is an option for complementary evening snacks like soup, pasta, breads, fruits. There is also a bar available. There are restaurants available at walking distance from the hotel where we had dinner. Overall it was a wonderful stay for us.

The perfect examples of professional evening hosts. Roberto with his excellent service - at the same time professional and personal - and making things happens and Andrea the magician who made actually professional magic tricks. Impressive and the perfect match enjoying the quality wine list. Just go!

It was a perfect location as we were huge group of people getting together there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was very nearby to where everybody was staying.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Calalzo, C’era una volta un Re… features a garden. Boasting private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The guest house features city views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Everything was exceptional. The host was very friendly, the room was very clean, with modern design and wood furniture. We even got coffee and snacks included for the morning. A rare 10/10 location. The view when you leave the location is awesome. The bus station is right next to the hotel.

The service was unbelievable. The hospitality, the food, the view, the room - everything was amazing!!! Alberto, the owner, was so helpful in picking us up from the parking lot and taking us to the refuge. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!
