To start, the welcoming greeting from Paola upon arrival and her kindness was just lovely and made me feel like at home. The hotel was detailed to perfection of an Alpine getaway just below Monte Bianco. Located in the hamlet of Entreves, 2 km from Courmayeur, Hotel Aiguille Noire offers accommodation 600 metres from the Skyway Monte Bianco. Free on-site parking and a mountain-view garden are available. The bed and the room in general, plus the location in Entrèves, which we have preferred than Courtmayeur. The staff is great as well! FYI, the bed was rather firm.

The property offers free shuttle services to the Dolonne ski slope which is 400 meters away. The hotel is really pretty. The room was quite large, very clean and with all the right amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was leaving very early in the morning (6:30am), so they insisted in making me a sandwich. My stay was part of my TMB, so I was there only for 14 hours. I hope to come back one day and spend a few extra days.
