Everything was fantastic: location, view to the Mont Blanc, friendly and efficient staff, lovely building and delicious food at breakfast and dinner. Just perfect!

We had a wonderful time in Courmayeur! The appartment is on the best location, just in the middle of the city but still very quiet. We appriciated to have cafés and restaurants just across the street as well as being able to walk go the sky lift within a few minuters. The appartment was very clean, feels brand new, and has all you might need (washingmachine, microwave, dishwasher, separate room for skiis etc. Anna and her family is so friendly and so easy to communicate with. We felt welcomed from the first minute. It is just the perfect place that we highly recommend!

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Hobo camp is an awesome camp site at the foothills of Mont Blanc, with many hiking trails accessible directly from the camp. There is a great atmosphere with a bar/restaurant very reasonably priced, and that is from a South African traveller converting rands. There is a small shop with additional supplies, but I would say stock up in Chamonix for your daily catering needs. We booked a luxy tent, it was warm and comfy, lots of cushions, seating, outside cute table and chair. We were provided a basic selection of cutlery and crockery so there is everything you need to cook, eat and prepare foods. We hired a car in Geneva airport to get here, which I would recommend, but there were plenty of busses and transport runs up and down the mountain stopping right outside the camp and heading down to Courmeyeur where you can catch the SKyway cable car to the summits. I was particularly impressed by the communal shower/toilets. They were cleaned twice a day and always looking clean and very nice. The setting itself is spectacular and breathtaking. I doubt there is much the camp owners can do about it but during the day there were noisy trucks excavating rocks from several landslides opposite the camp. Its not an overbearing noise but to head into nature one hopes not to hear the noise of civilization and excavation outside a campsite. On the hike heading up the valley from the camp the noise soon disappeared. Amazing spot and thanks Hobo team for your hospitality.

The room was very spacious. One of the cleanest (if not THE cleanest) place that I have stayed at. Welcoming and caring host. Tasty breakfast that gives you energy to start your hiking day with enough choice (not only variety of sweet ¨stuff¨ and cereals but also fruits, bread, cheese and ham were available). Great coffee. There are no shops nor restaurants in the village but you get a perfect peace and quiet (just singing birds and the sound of the river flowing nearby). If you still need to buy anything - la Thuille is very close.
