This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! 5 minute walk from the train station and central area for restaurants, super clean, room was big and the bed was comfortable, quiet at night even though it's close to the train station, the free ramen was delicious and the onsen was 10x better than we expected - seemed new, very modern and clean, with a view of the Japanese alps and an indoor and outdoor area. Great value and we wish we had stayed for an extra night!

Very nice design, a lot of light wood. Good location, walking distance to the station( if you can roll your bag), walking distance to the samurai district. Nice small restaurants around. The staff was very welcoming, they offer free udon in the evening, all drinks in the room are free including beer. They gave us a small goody bag with sweets at the checkout. We would definitely stay there again.
