Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. General facilities were great. Having access to an iron and ironing board was a bonus. Bathroom was our favourite on our trip, and extremely roomy. Beds and pillows were also the best on our holiday. Views were spectacular from 11th floor. Staff were extremely helpful.

The room was very spacious and well decorated, which is rare in Japan. We liked the fact that we had to leave our shoes at the entrance of the hotel and walk bare foot in the hotel.

Just across the street from the train station and a very short walk catty-corner to the ferry terminals. The staff was terrific, both in the hotel and restaurant, and did everything possible to make us feel like honored guests. An extra touch was free coffee/tea/snacks/ice cream and as much bottled water as we wanted. One of our favorite hotels on our 3-month trip.

One of the absolute highlights of our time in Japan. The house is a beautifully restored ryokan with excellent modern facilities, on a quiet street just a 5 minute walk from central Miyajimacho. Our host was incredibly generous and accommodating, greeting us with tea and treats and recommendations. She made us feel very welcome. As a base for our hike of Mt Misen, it was perfect. Miyajima is a busy place for daytrippers from Hiroshima, so staying overnight gave us the chance to see the island practically deserted in the morning and evening hours: a perfect way to see Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in Temple earlier in the day, before the crowds arrive, and even to wander out at low tide after dark to touch the base of the great, "floating" torii gate. Highly, highly recommend Shintatsuan as a place to stay!

Our stay Hiyasai -Login Kurashiki was perfect in every way. The location is exceptional to the beautiful old town. So nice to have an apartment to feel more like at home with a beautiful courtyard with quaint cafe's, shops and a balcony. Steps away from the old town. Gorgeous and clean apartment. Very easy to communicate with staff. They answered all my questions quickly.
