四季亭 Shikitei is aantrekkelijk gelegen in de wijk Nara Park in Nara, en bevindt zich op 2,3 km van station Nara, 19 km van Iwafune Shrine en 22 km van Rugbystadion Higashiosaka Hanazono. A lovely place at the edge of the deer forest. A marvelous Japanese hosting with a welcome drink and tea set to the room. We had 2 different rooms. Japanese style. Very spacious. We preferred Yoro, but both excellent. The staff is very friendly. Location is very good, right at the park entrance and 10 walking minutes to the center. Highly recommended.

Yoshi is een geweldig attente, hartelijke gastheer die een heerlijk Japans ontbijt klaarmaakt en als een kunstwerk opdient (voor mij aangepast, vegetarisch). Gunstig gelegen, in rustige buurt, korte loopafstand van treinstation Ikoma, tussen Osaka en Nara. Gebruik van goed uitgeruste keuken, thee en koffie, en gezamenlijke, met aandacht voor detail ingerichte ruimtes. Prima kamer, badkamer, en fijn dat er op elke verdieping een toilet is.

Novotel Nara bevindt zich in Nara, op 1,7 km van station Nara, en biedt accommodatie met een fitnesscentrum, privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. A very peacefull hotel with large room fully equiped. Bus station near to reach the main touristic areas. Staff was helpfull and always reactive. I recommend !

Kanko Ryokan Yamato ligt in Ikoma, op 8,8 km van Iwafune Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Super vriendelijke mensen en een top Japans ontbijt. Ik was er 4 nachten en kreeg iedere dag iets anders en het was altijd heerlijk! Fijne kamer en douches.

Out of dozens and dozens of hotels/Ryokans staying in Japan, i have to say that this was probably the best hotel i ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many expensive and premium ones. Just fantastic throughout, great aesthetics, amazingly clean, very spacious, beautiful and super comfortable beds, silent, the open air bath is a dream, location is very convenient. Don't miss staying in this hotel if you find it available.

Very quiet location in a smaller town. The common area was great. Shogo had some great recommendations for places to eat and an onsen two minutes away.

Hotel Nara Sakurai No Sato ligt in Sakurai, op 26 km van station Nara, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een restaurant. We spent 15 days in Japan and this hotel was without a doubt our best stay of all!!! The hotel is absolutely immaculate — super clean, modern, with a huge and very comfortable room! An incredible view!! Pure luxury! Fantastic bathroom products, a very large bathroom with the toilet and shower separated — truly a dream room! The staff were all amazing, super friendly, and there was free parking right in front of the hotel! Breakfast itself was a whole experience!! Delicious bread and croissants, a Japanese set with fantastic food, great coffee, fresh juices, and local teas! I could go on all day praising this hotel — it was truly incredible, and definitely one I’d love to repeat someday.

Fairfield by Marriott Nara Tenri Yamanobenomichi ligt in Tenri, op 13 km van station Nara en 28 km van Iwafune Shrine. Staff was amazing and so helpful. Facility was beautiful and room very confortable

古民家民泊かえるて is gelegen in Kashihara, op 28 km van Subaru Hall en 29 km van Tanpi Shrine, en biedt uitzicht op de tuin. The hosts were wonderful. We are very thankful to them for letting us store our luggage after our checkout for a couple of hours and they offered to drop us to the bus station aswelll. They are very kind. They have two goats aswell called ponyo and peo.

奈良五條の宿 彩 irodori Private lodging is gelegen op 29 km van Subaru Hall en biedt een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een terras en gratis WiFi. Wonderful immediate surroundings and lots to explore in the area. Gojo is a nice little town surrounded by nature and all facilities you might need. We had our own little rental car making it easy to get around. When you have to rely on public transportation your options are more limited. Property itself was very nice with nice facilities and all taken care of wonderfully by Miyuki.
