Everything exceeded our expectations, to be honest. The room was spacious and even it is in a central area, it is very quiet. It is also a short 5-10 min walk to the fort which is the main attraction in the city and just a couple minutes away from the bazaar. The breakfast was outstanding, one of the best we had in our trip in Sri Lanka. And so was the coffee! The staff were very nice and helpful, they went out of their way to help us with an issue we had completely unrelated to our stay there which was greatly appreciated.

When we opened the door, it was a big wow. It felt as if we had stepped into a place you normally only see in your dreams. My family and I love to be surrounded by beauty. One of my daughters is an interior designer for hotels all over the world, and even she was completely speechless. The photos on Booking.com do not capture the true beauty of this place. Every detail is perfect. Normally, when our family checks in somewhere, we immediately go out to explore the surroundings. But after arriving at Olinda, we stayed the entire day. We played in the pool together, relaxed, lounged, and simply enjoyed being with each other in a place that gives you such a wonderful feeling. The food and drinks were, of course, of the same excellent quality. After a perfect night’s sleep in one of the four rooms we had booked, we decided to take a tuk-tuk tour. It was a joyful experience. Galle is a beautiful historic place, and the ancient Buddhist rock temple is truly worth visiting a very old, pure, and peaceful place. We celebrated New Year’s Eve in Galle and had a lovely time. Leaving Olinda was hard. We truly felt at home, wrapped in warmth created by the wonderful crew. They are present with open hearts and that is exactly what you feel in this house. We are very gratefull to be here on our Sri Lanka tour

The attention to every detail was truly remarkable. Relaxing in such an extraordinary place was far more than just a pleasure. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, complemented by discreet, professional service, delicious breakfasts, and exquisite drinks. I would love to return there again.

Tolles Anwesen, tolles Restaurant auf dem Hof, sauber und gemütlich. Ich hatte das Einzelzimmer mit sehr großer Terasse und habe spontan 2 Nächte verlängern können. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

The staff was even more incredible than the views with their warm hospitality and friendliness. They went above and beyond for my birthday! I would 100% recommend this place and 100% return!

Leckeres Frühstück im Hot Rock Restaurant gegenüber. Auch da sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die uns jeden morgen zwei Liegen reservierten.
