Schöne, saubere Unterkunft mit Pool und Restaurant. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Safari mit Frühstücks- und Lunchpaketen für den ganzen Tag wurde ebenfalls für einen fairen Preis vom Hotel organisiert. Sehr empfehlenswert! :)

Das Lankavatara Ocean Retreat befindet sich in Kalametiya, 15 km von der Lagune von Tangalle entfernt und bietet Ihnen kostenfreies WLAN. Nice place. Sadly, we could not stay longer as it was booked out. Will need to book earlier next time 😉

Das Yakaduru Yala liegt in der Pufferzone des Yala-Nationalparks. Sie wohnen nur 5 Minuten vom Eingang zum Yala-Nationalpark entfernt. Staying at Yakaduru was one of the best ideas we had during the trip in Sri Lanka. The staff looked after us and took us on an amazing walk around the hotel. They have a wealth of knowledge about animals, they are true enthusiasts! Hotel clean, very well maintained. Food - adapted to European tastes ;-) very delicious ... and lots of it .... Safari expedition (in our case a full day) - was great. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to meet nature face to face and relax!

The hosts organized a Christmas Eve dinner for us.

One of the hidden gems of Sri Lanka! This beautiful hotel is set around a serene lake, with stunning views from the room overlooking water lilies, palm trees, and grazing buffalo. The rooms are stylishly decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with something for everyone. Madu, the manager, is incredibly approachable and goes above and beyond to make everything possible. A truly amazing stay!

Great accommodation in Tissa! The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a balcony with a beautiful view to rice fields. The pool is really nice. Great value for money. The owners helped organize the full day safari. Really great tour (we saw 2 leopards) with a guide that doesn’t follow the crowds and truly explores the park. The location is not super close to centre but they have bicycles we can use (just a 20min bike ride)

Die Unterkunft New Cormorant Lake Resort & Yala Safari Place, die in Tissamaharama, 2,6 km von Tissa Wewa entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem... Gem of a place. As mentioned in other reviews the rooms are basic BUT comfortable and clean. For the price they are more than perfect. The setting itself was wonderful - right by the lake, surrounded by wildlife. In the evening, the host took us by tuktuk/scooter for a free tour of the lakes where we saw varans, bats, many birds including two beautiful owls !, and even a (harmless) snake. I booked my Yala safari with the host the day before and we could tell that the driver was more experienced than others. We saw all the wildlife one could see in Yala - leopards, crocodiles, varans, many birds, elephants, mongooses and even a sloth bear ! Perfect place, I'm happy I choose it.
