This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

An incredible place where you can sleep in luxury in the middle of the Sri Lankan jungle. The staff is wonderful and friendly, food was excellent. Everything's organic and fresh and homemade. So tasty!!! They their own cardamom ice cream, cardamom grows outside your room, as well as lemongrass and mini-guavas. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the Sri Lankan mountains, Going to sleep with the noises of the wet jungle- everything is an adventure in this place. (Watch out for bloodsucking leeches!) I did a half day trek up the knuckles range with their guide, thanks to him I was lucky to spot some leaf nose lizards. What a beautiful creature. Highly recommend this place.

It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Overall, our stay at A Frame Riverston was nothing short of magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst stunning natural beauty.

This hotel was so wonderful !! First the place is particularly beautiful, the house has been made with a lot of taste and every detail is perfectly adjusted. (It's even better than the pictures). You are lost in the nature so this is a very good break to relax during the trip. Above all, the couple working there is amazing! They are kind and so helpful. Their food is delicious ! We booked the cooking demonstration and it was a really nice experience :) this hotel was from far the best of our 10 days trip !

Hatte hier ein paar sehr schöne und ruhige Tage! Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen und die Familie die sie betreibt ist sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich! Man bekommt zu essen gekocht und es schmeckt sehr lecker. In der Umgebung kann man super wandern gehen und im Dorf das Dorfleben und die Landwirtschaft erleben. Das zimmer ist sehr klein und Basic aber ich fand es völlig ausreichend und angemessen für den Preis :) die Toiletten und Dusche sind sauber. Komme sehr gerne wieder wenn ich das nächste mal nach Sri Lanka komme!

He contacted us before we arrived to make sure everything was arranged. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable.
