Excellent host, clean room every day and tasty breakfast!

Perfect holidays! Although at first we were put in not so nice room next to construction side, but it was changed after two days for a really good apartment with island view. The meals were absolutely delicious! It was either menu a la carte (wide choice) or bufet depending on the day. The meals includes a starter, main dish and a dessert. The water is included. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers excursions which also were incredible. They did everything they could so we can enjoy our time there. It's literally 1min from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. We 100% recommend the hotel!

Pros: Cozy, family-run accommodation with only 4 rooms, creating a warm, personalized experience. Spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms with friendly, helpful staff who go the extra mile—like arranging alternative transport when needed and prividing with a lot of local information. A 15-minute walk to the beach, with free bicycles available for added convenience. Flexible check-out and a tasty breakfast—highly recommend trying the Maldivian option. Small, quiet island with a laid-back vibe, ideal for relaxation; the public bikini beach is well-equipped with publich/free sunbeds and umbrellas and very likely you'll have the whole beach for yourself.

Very nice hotel with a unique design and a very nice holiday vibe. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and they do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We received free late checkout as our departure was in the eveninig. They cooked for us a fish we caught in a fishing trip preparing us a very nice dinner free of charge. The manager Ibrahim is a very special person with very high customer service skilsl and made our brief stay in the hotel an unforgettable one.

Really nice room with very friendly staff

It was our second trip to Plumeria hotel on Thinadhoo. The previous one was 2 years ago. The island is just 1.5 hours by speedboat from Male. The Plumeria boats are comfortable and the team skillfully copes with small waves (you don't get seasick). There is a great reef around the island. The house reef was even better than 2 years ago - the corals are reviving and you can see even more fish around; turtles, sting rays and dolphins also included. Mind the sharks though - they are frequently passing after 3 p.m. to their feeding spot. It takes 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel to the canopies of the bikini beach, along the way you have to follow the dress code. There are also canopies just in front of the hotel on the beach if you're too lazy to walk or the weather is unstable. The cleanliness is high. Daily cleaning, twice a day replenish supplies of consumables and water. Excellent buffet. Our meal plan was HB and we really recommend it. Great fresh fruits, intricate desserts, salads, good fish and different special corners with live action. All the staff is very friendly, always ready to help: smiling reception staff, quick waiters, friendly chefs. The general manager Azeez is really caring and arranges everything - including activities on Tuesdays and Fridays and special treatment for repeaters. This was unexpected and very pleasant: free cocktails/ice cream, special hot pot dinner, excursion to a sandbank. They also upgraded our room to a sea view one for free of charges. That was real luxury and we are very grateful for our holiday! As a conclusion, I can assume that Plumeria and Thinadhoo itself is a great place to stay, especially in the low season. There are more canopies on the bikini beach compared to 2 years ago and we were always able to find one even in the prime time.

I had the best time staying at Sunshine view! The property is only a few meters walking distance from the jetty and only a few steps from the beach.. i was visiting Maafushi with my mom for my birthday ..we were welcomed with a welcome drink by the owner..the room was impeccable.. very clean room and spotless bathroom.. the next day was my birthday and the owner and his wife made it so special by bringing me a gift.. it was such a beautiful surprise.. in the evening my mom and I celebrated my birthday by cutting cake with the owner and his wife followed by a small party organised by them with their home made snacks and juice.. it was so special and so precious for me, i felt like i was celebrating with my family. They also arranged for speedboat to and from the airport. My mom and i had the best time there! The day we had to leave, the owner and his wife came to drop up at the jetty and kept waving goodbye till our speedboat disappeared from their sight. Highly recommend for families. Thank you for making it so special for us! We left Maldives with the best memories for a lifetime! 🫶🏼
