The host, Peter, is super friendly and welcoming and makes you feel right at home, but leaves you to your privacy. The bed was really comfortable and the air conditioning was a welcome amenity on a hot Central Otago night. We had a great stay and can highly recommend the cottage for a couple or solo traveller!

What really set this place apart, though, was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. They were welcoming, generous, and genuinely cared about our comfort, which made us feel instantly at home. It is rare to find a place where both the location and the people leave such a lasting impression. I would be genuinely surprised if anyone didn’t have a wonderful experience staying here.

This was my second visit to the cottage, and it was just as fantastic as the first time. Everything about the place feels cosy and warm, making it a perfect retreat. The location is spot-on – peaceful yet convenient – and the hosts are truly welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. One of the real highlights is the breakfast – a massive bonus that sets this place apart. It’s clear a lot of care and thought goes into every detail, and it shows. I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Benger Garden Chalets ligt in Millers Flat met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, snackbar, tuin, terras en barbecue. Loved our stay with Benger Garden Chalets. The Chalets were clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfast in the morning was a real bonus! Staff were very lovely and accomodating!
