Sea and Karl were wonderful hosts - very kind, helpful and so interesting to learn from. Sea and Karl invited us to feed their animals which was a very fun experience. The location is wonderful with spectacular views across the spit from the property.

The house is really beautiful, very well-equipped and comfortable. The garden and outdoor space are lovely, with views of the mountains and estuary. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place, but also convenient for the centre of Collingwood.

The location was ideal for a peaceful retreat from our busy lives. The surroundings are very beautiful - lots of open green spaces, hammock under the fruit trees, birdsong, clean air, babbling brook to enjoy. Loved the creative touches in the house truck, the shower unit and communal kitchen. Our host and extended family were very warm and welcoming. Can't wait to book in again.

Wow, it’s fantastic, just loved the place. This is one of those places where you just say, yeah this is fabulous. Well set out, clean, great kitchenette, comfortable & relaxing and all set in a stunning environment. So easy to sit back, relax and take in the exceptional vista. Wish we could have stayed a few more nights - for our next visit we will be booking early.

We loved our stay at Coastal Charm On entering, the house was crisp, clean and homely. We felt right at home, everything we needed was there even the exact coffee machine I have at home! Access to the beach was excellent and we were only 10 or so minutes out of Tākaka which is so convenient. 10/10
