What truly stood out was the incredible staff – by far the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve encountered in all my years of traveling. Every interaction, from reception to housekeeping to restaurant service, was warm, genuine, and made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, but somehow still feels like a hidden gem – it’s seriously underrated for the quality it delivers. Whether you're visiting Muscat for business or leisure, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you to the entire team for making my trip so memorable – I’ll definitely be coming back!

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything was perfect, inside out. The employees were absolutely lovely, from the cleaning team (Ankit, Florence) and around the swimming pool (Sami & Tin) will took a really good care of us. The chef was taking time to be sure that food was good enough, and he was super nice. Thanks to the Marriott’s Team who made our stay so peaceful and perfect

All the rooms come with air conditioning and a flat screen TV with satellite channels. While some rooms boast sea views and others garden views, all rooms come with an electric kettle and coffee machine. The rooms are complete with a private bathroom with free toiletries, a bathrobe, two outdoor swimming pools and hair dryer. Everything. I travel extensively and this is one of few hotels which is absolutely perfect. From the check in staff, breakfast staff, room service staff, the guys that clean the rooms etc all amazing. The lady staff member at breakfast always remembered I liked a quiet area to eat. And that made me feel good knowing something so simple she remembered. Honestly this hotel and staff should be very proud of the hotel. Beds very comfortable, beautiful bathrooms. I cannot praise enough. I will certainly be back. I leave rested and with a smile on my face. The pool is the best, if your a pool walker like me it’s amazing Well done W Muscat

In the 80's in Time Magazine Al Bustan Palace published beautiful ad and since then I wanted to visit this place. During my recent first visit to Oman I knew that I must stay at Al Bustan Palace. This place is everything I Imagined long time ago in the 80's. It is a real Palace built for kings and princes of the Gulf states. Arabic themed buffet dinner was of the highest quality with amazing variety (tagine, shuwa, maqluba, shawerma, . . .). Frankincense scent in the lobby, fires in the garden during the evening, beautiful colors on the mountains during sunset and sunrise . . . We kindly received room upgrade and late check out. One of the few truly magical places in our world (like La Mamounia in Marrakech)
