It was a great experience. It exceeded our expectations in every sense. Sleeping in de desert is a unique experience but the people of the moon light luxury camp (both staff and the other guests) made it an even more exceptional experience. Really, it was just great. The dinner and the breakfast we had there were incredible. Spending some time talking to each other around the fire under the light of the moon and the stars was so nice.

The room was nice and quiet and the people were so welcoming and kind. They shared interesting stories about their culture when we were sitting around the fire. Our car got stuck in the sand on the way to get there and they helped us to get it out - thank you so much! Definitely recommend staying there ☺️

We had an amazing day at the camp. Faiz is a great guy, so funny and available. The owner is also lovely. The food is 10/10 and the overall atmosphere is super relaxed and family-like. Much more secluded and intimate that other big camps, totally worth your money.

Oman desert private camp is situated 10 km in the desert at the top of one of the highest dunes at the area. Its a luxury tent and consist of 2 floors .

Sleeping under the stars in the desert was a once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget. The camp is quite nice for being called rustic. The beds are basic, but for one night absolutely ok. Obaid the owner is a wonderful kind soul and shared a lot about Bedouin culture with us at the camp fire after dinner. Breakfast and dinner were included and buffet style, it was great. I would recommend to stay here at least one night to anyone visiting Oman, an absolute must do! The drive to the camp is about 10km on a dirt road, mostly packed dirt, but it also has some areas with soft sand. It absolutely requires a 4x4 and I highly recommend getting your tires deflated at one of the tire shops on the way. Don’t let them charge you more than 1 rial and they should refill your tires the next day for free. You will get stuck in the sand if you go with full tire pressure and without 4x4 engaged.

Desert Wonders Camp is situated on Eastern Sands that stretches from Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. Lit by lanterns, the camp offers Bedouin-style accommodation with tents.

It was excellent experience, sleeping in the desert. Around camp is nothing, so you really have a feeling of emptiness around you. Dinner was delicious, also dining room is looking nice. Owner is good organised and kind. He waited for us in meeting point to show us where is camp.

Small campsite, which was great as our group had it to ourselves. Visited in November 2025, and all the facilities were brand new. Hamzu was an excellent host and provided everything we needed, including delicious brought in meals. Beds were very comfortable. Location is quite close to the Al Rama village, just a short journey into the dunes, but still far away to provide stunning views from the campsite and the dune just above it. Great elevated common eating area, common tent for socializing, and fire pit area.
