The style and comfort were tantamount to a 5 diamond hotel. The owners were absolutely amazing. David is an excellent host who makes your stay very comfortable while being a wealth of information about what is available in the area. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the shower warm. Our 3 day stay here was one of the best we had in central america and I would recommend staying here

We especially enjoyed the boat vibe, being close to the water for sunrise and sunset, the private dock with hammocks, watching the dolphins, the great snorkling experience right at our spot, the good cooking, the friendly hosts, the day travel to red frog beach with the canoes of the property. We throrougly enjoyed the tropical wilderness and being away from civilization.

The restaurant area is very nice and the food was excellent. The deck area is good. The hotel location is great, Bocas Town is within a walking distance with several restaurants. The Bocas Center Dive Center is in the hotel and is a great option for scuba diving. The dive masters are great, the boat is excellent and the best is that they split large groups into smaller groups, each one with their individual dive master.

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar and garden. The property features sea and lake views. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Very pretty location among large tropical trees. Carmen and Marcel are incredible hosts. For four days you feel like part of a family with the hosts and other guests. The breakfast is large and flavorful and the dinners combine great food with fun company. We also had two sloths hanging out in the nearby trees.
