Jan was very accommodating with my early check in time and let me leave my bags in the living room as I waited to check in. I originally booked for 4 nights but ended up staying an extra 5. Because the Homestay can only accommodate up to 6 people the place is a lot quieter then other places in siargao. For the price you pay and what you get the value is amazing. Place is cleaned daily and shower also has hot water. A/C in the rooms is also super comfortable. If you have a wise account he can help you withdraw money without the crazy high atm fees. The Homestay is close to everything and easy to walk to scooter rentals around his neighbourhood. He can help with booking transportation to and from the airport as well if needed. Had many amazing conversations with jan during my stay and would definitely recommend booking here if you’re looking for a comfortable bed to stay in during your time in siargao.

I spent a total of 2 months in Casavia and loved the time there. Whether for a short or long stay - Casavia is a really great hostel with the best staff (especially the receptionist)! There was always someone cleaning, improving, helping or cooking. There is a great range of social activities, but in a pleasant amount so that you also have enough space to retreat and relax. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the common area is cozy and large, you can work and do yoga in peace. I will definitely be back!

Excellent location right on Cloud 9. Beautiful swimming pool, very good breakfast, calm but central position. It was perfect for what we wanted. The resort manager and staff were very helpful and helped us organising our stay (scooter, surf classes, transport to the airport).

The hosts are super nice and made us feel at home. Got great help with keeping the mosquitoes away and they were always close if we had questions or wanted recommendations. It was also possible to rent mopeds through the hosts. Overall a great stay, didn’t want to leave.

They reminded me of villas in Hawaii. With large outside Patios and the great ocean views as a builder, I can truly say these villas are top quality construction, well designed and furnished. The landscaping was just as nice with lots of private space and just steps from the beach for good surfing. The food was good and we could have it brought right to our villa. The staff was so nice and friendly and really helped make your stay extra nice.
