Set in Monsaraz, in a historic building, 200 metres from Monsaraz Castle, Casa Dona Antonia - Monsaraz is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with pool with a view and garden. The property has pool and garden views, and is 48 km from Ducal Palace of Vila Viçosa. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. We only had a one night stay. Sorry we could not stay longer. A gem.

Good breakfast and free parking and great staff. We loved the location to walk around the old city and wish we had stayed 3 or 4 nights rather than just 2.

Some rooms have a private terrace. From the moment I arrived at Espinheiro, I knew I was in for something special. Check-in was smooth and welcoming - room was spacious with a nice garden view. The amenities were exceptional and breakfast buffet was another highlight, featuring everything from fresh tropical fruits and made-to-order omelets to locally baked pastries and fresh-pressed juices. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the service. Every staff member, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, went above and beyond. It is a place I’ll return to without hesitation and recommend to anyone seeking a memorable stay.

From the moment we were greeted on arrival by Dario to our departure, we were welcomed and cared for. Our room was spacious, with lovely views from the big windows. The hotel was originally a family home and the renovation has kept many of the original features. The outdoor space is beautiful with many options for sitting outside by the pool in good weather or from a covered balcony . The breakfast was spectacular with so many different options served in a lovely breakfast room. By far the best part of an already perfect stay was the attention and care we received from Dario, the hotel manager. He is the kindest, most welcoming person and we feel fortunate to have met him. This won't be our last visit to Cicioso and Evora.
