Great breakfast, beautiful room with the view over the railway tracks. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The building was also great, with many original elements (like stone walls etc) left after the renovation. Friendly and helpful staff.

Everything! Lovely 200 year old house that was beautifully renovated; friendly staff - Diana welcomed us, was so proud to show us around and served us coffee a d tea with cake on arrival; lovely breakfast and very clean rooms. Safe secured parking.

Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

The family is super accommodating. One night we wanted to do a picnic. The son helped us find an amazing viewpoint and the mom helped us with plastic cutlery and picnic gear. Super lovely stay, really another world.
