Right in front of the lake, with only a thin line of trees. We got some pretty good views of the aurora from inside the cabin. The attached picture was taken from inside (using a tripod of course). You can literally catch the aurora while seating on the couch or on the armchair! Relatively secluded as well, as it is located at the end of the road.

Perfect location to see the northern lights; we were able to see it right from the balcony. The apartment is well equipped and there's a supermarket nearby within walking distance. The water was cold due to heater issues when we arrived on a Saturday, and the hosts were very responsive and quickly get the issue partially resolved on the day itself, and fully resolved by the next day.
