Everything, from the moment I booked on booking com, the owner kept in touch and suggested how to reach, even though I came late. He talked to the Bodaboda guy to get me to his apartment. He changed the room with a bigger one without extra money! He is warm and willing to help you. Good value for money. I will definitely be back!

We did enjoy the atmosohere by the peacefull place. The food was tasty and healthy. We did prefere the local organic food which was made for us in the restaurant. Also the breakfest was splendid every morning. San was the chef who made tasty vegeterian food for us from local organig ingredients. Peace was the best ever as a waitress, as she was smiling and talking with us . The cottage we had was perfekt with the astonishing wy to the blue lake. We did watch the birds, the stars and we made a wonderfull boattrip on the lake. We had also a trip to a village of pygmis. At the last night we did see a flying star! Then we had the change to hope that we could come back here again! There was also time to make some jogapractising by own. We did read books. We did make meditation daily by ourselves. Also we had time to make watercoulourpainting by us selves of the landscapes. I tried to paint the landscapes which did very much remaind me of William Turners paintings Everything was organaised by a fantastic personal! We were kept so well that it felt almost like at home. The owner Edvard was so kind. He did organise everything for us. It was so nice to visite the pygmivillage and dance with them. Edvard took us to the border of Ruanda. He did help to get trough the formalities. Ores was the excellent guide on our boattrips! Ores took care of telling us how to behave at pygmivillage. He did also tell us very many stories about Uganda. Kampu was the expert to make campfire and drive the motorboat. He was always polite and helpful. Charkotte, the manager, was keeping everything in excellent hands. Always smiling and always helping in everything. With the experiencis of travelling more than hundred countries we do highly recommend this lovely gorgeous place Lake resort! We do both feel like new persons after spending four nights there!! The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

Die Unterkunft Birdnest Resort hat einen Außenpool, einen Garten, eine Terrasse und eine Bar in Kabale. We have been there 3 nights. We changed a room in the middle ( an upgrade ) both rooms were great ( number 7 was the best). The hotel has an amazing view, a serine environment with nice sitting areas where you can sit and eat/ have a drink in front of the view. Service was excellent and everybody were so nice and helpfull.We took the hotel kayaks to explore the lake (free for guest's use).
