Viking Villages is an absolutely amazing place. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. Our lodge was fantastic, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Beds are super comfortable. The styling and decor is second to none. The owner showed us around the grounds and the Viking hall, another stunning piece of architecture. They have sheep - the lambs were super cute - and they make their own maple syrup from their own trees. This is a serene place in the woods, relaxing, quiet, and you can hear nature around you. TV, Wifi and Netflix available if you want to use that. I cooked but you can take a short drive to nearby towns for food. They have a directory in the lodges to tell you all about the area and give food recommendations. The Village looks amazing at night too with all the ambient lighting. We stepped outside to a very atmospheric full moon, starry skies and sounds of nature in the trees. Best night's sleep and best shower on our whole trip! Customer service is fabulous, the owner is more than happy to chat and tell you about the village and area. If we are ever in the US on vacation again, we will be back!

The location was incredible and very peaceful. The receptionist was very helpful. On our last day, our 2.5 year-old kid broke a lamp. We brought the lamp to him asking for how much did we have to pay, and he acknowledged that it was an accident and there was nothing to worry about. This is one of those things that makes you return to a hotel.

My physical limitation was no issue and I was given a parking spot around the corner of our room. The room was beautiful, with fire place and comfi bed. Highly recommended.

I loved it then and I really enjoyed it now under new ownership. It is a vintage motel with all the basic amenities, not fancy, but full of vintage charm, comfort, privacy, and great location if you like being in or near the mountains.

This property far exceeded our expectations. Such a good layout with lots of extras. Lots of room and a large comfortable bed. Location was great and being able to walk next door to the diner/ice cream shop was a bonus. The entry lock system was brilliant and one of the best & easiest we've ever used. The short video explaining it was awesome. Everything worked, seemed quite new. TV had lots of stations. You can park right outside your unit so that's super convenient. We were so pleased we stayed here!! Would thoroughly recommend.

It’s almost like a B&B, super homely and full of character. Super comfortable bed, gorgeous view from the spring room. Mike and Barbara were amazing hosts and Mike made us a delicious breakfast in the morning at whatever time we wanted- best blueberry pancakes I have ever had. He was super accommodating and just a lovely lovely man. I would LOVE to stay there again, thanks so much Mike and Barbara!
