The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to come back again 🙂 Terima kasih 🙏

Nino is super enthusiastic about showing you all Berastagi has to offer - he is happy to cater it to your interests. He will arrange everything for you and personally take you to most places. Examples: street food tour, agricultural tour, cave exploration, cooking classes etc. If you think of something you want to do, I have no doubt that Nino can make it happen. Both he and his mom speak perfect English. Location of the place is great - close enough to town, but not right in the overcrowded center. Close to the base of Sibyak (we actually ran the trail directly from the house). Room is clean and comfortable, amazing balcony with a great view. 10/10 would recommend.
