I can really recommend this place! I stayed in a super nice and extremely clean room with a balcony and beautiful view of the hills. Big bathroom with hot water shower. The staff was very helpful and helped me arrange a tuktuk to go to Adams Peak at night. I have nothing to complain about!

Our hosts, Ruban and Murali, were fantastic - attentive, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the Pekoe Trail and gave us good advice for our walk.

Nestled in the tranquil hills of Ragala, this heritage bungalow dating back to 1880 welcomed us with warmth, serenity, and unmatched hospitality. After a long 16-hour journey with my infant son, wife, and mother, we arrived at 10:30 PM — yet everything was perfectly arranged for us, thanks to Manusanka, the ever-gracious property manager. From coordinating a pick-up van for the 1.2 km off-road trail to ensuring we had everything we needed upon arrival, his care made us feel right at home. The bungalow itself is a living piece of history — impeccably maintained, tastefully appointed, and surrounded by lush greenery, landscaped gardens, and the peaceful sounds of nature. The set-course meals were absolutely delicious — every dish was prepared with love and left us wanting more. A special thank you to Kapila, who attended to us throughout our stay with kindness and attentiveness. Whether it was adjusting breakfast to suit our preferences or ensuring we had everything we needed, he truly made a difference. This is a remote getaway, and that’s exactly its charm. Birdsong by day, starry skies by night, and the pure stillness of nature all around — it’s a place to disconnect and truly rejuvenate. Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into an old movie full of authenticity and elegance. The atmosphere was both luxurious and comfortable, with quick and friendly service all around. We were a group of different ages, even with teenagers, and everyone loved it—some of us didn’t even want to leave the hotel! I stayed at the Owner’s Cottage, and the room, the view, and all the details were simply amazing. The manager, Mr. Krishantha, was extremely kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay included breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, so we barely had to spend anything extra. All of the staff were more than wonderful. This will definitely not be our last visit!

Amazing property, great staff, and loved the old style bungalow. We had a great time spending time on the lawns, and when it rained, the staff was super helpful to set up the fireplace, and we had an evening of Uno and music.
