Very nice accommodation in the desert, which is a great departure from the classic hotel accommodation. If you have the nature to do without the usual hotel room environment, you will be thrilled. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

The services are limited due to is a camp in the dessert. Anyhow no complains about the ammount of food, water, tea, etc. Excellent experience if you want to be in the dessert, watch and touch camels, feed them, etc. The guide Qusay really loves his job and always try tourists to have an excellent time. Full recommended the 4 hours dessert tour were you can do a lot of activities all in one.

We were warmly welcomed and Saeed was a great host. The authentic camp was very well presented and the attention to detail was amazing (small decorations well blended into the whole picture). The additional drive through the dunes with sunset watching was very fun and Saeed was again very thoughtful (prepared some bedouin coffee on a wood fire for the sunset watching). We finished the day with a bedouin meal which they prepared on a fire right in front of us. We got to know the omani people as very welcoming and this experience confirmed it again. Thank you!

Amazing stay in the desert, friendly personnel, great trip in the desert with Said, exciting dune bashing. Kids loved the sliding on the sand dunes. Tents are perfectly equipped and comfortable.

Sama Al Sharqiyah Camp is situated in Al Wāşil. Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with kitchenware.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

Golden dune Bedouin camp is set in Al Wāşil and has a private pool and mountain views. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

The location was perfect as we couldn’t see anything in a distance. Despite being a tent, the facilities were like and just like a hotel room with a bed, coffee machine, bathroom and shower. Outside there was a swing and several places to lounge or have meals. The owner took us dune bashing which was so much fun !

Black Sand Camp is offering accommodation in Al Mintirib. This luxury tent provides free private parking and full-day security. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside.

Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Dune and sunset tours impressed. Nice half day tour. Amazing food. Amazing rooms. Amazing location. Helpful transportation from town to the camp (we couldn't take our rental into the Sands). Freedom to walk up the dunes at night on your own (I went out for astrophotography).
