Our room was lovely. It had a nice bathroom and a verandah with a superb view of the canyon. It also had a sofa which we enjoyed relaxing on when not sitting outside looking at the view! The owners were very friendly and breakfast was good with everything homemade including yoghurt and their own honey. We also ate lunch and dinner there which was homemade and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the homemade goat and sheep’s cheese and tzatsiki. The drive from Berat is mostly on a winding narrow road but it was well worth it.

Accomadating was great, loved the view from our room and veranda. Breakfast was good. Friendly family run. We were disappointed that we only had one night before moving on. Would definitely return. Thank you for making us feel welcome

Lorenc and Kate. The room was lovely and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Kate cooked delicious traditional Albanian cuisine, the home-made wine was to die for if you like wine. The garden was atmospheric and we loved sitting here in the evenings and enjoying the local wildlife.

Villa Droboniku is beautiful. We had the whole apartment which has everything you need. There is a delightful courtyard to sit and chat in under the trees. You can see the sunset from there also. The host family is very friendly and helpful and gave us fruits, homemade jams. I would highly recommend this place for a couple or a family.

Amazing family run property, extremely warm and friendly. When you walk up to the front entrance, you're greeted by a beautiful garden terrace and the owner who let us know it was once the family home for 3 generations. The food was traditional, tasty and the setting is perfect for taking in the sunset. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Berat

The view from the room was amazing - tempting to just stay in the room all evening and watch the sunset. Very traditional architecture including wooden shutters. Able to pay with credit card. Location is great for exploring the castle, 20-25 walk down the hill to the old town. We didn't realise we booked 2 x single beds (our fault!) the hotel was fully booked otherwise the owner would have been willing to change.

Location is great, within a few minutes of the old town. Breakfast is amazing and includes everything from fruit to tasty pastries! Service is also impeccable and always with a smile and the room with the balcony has amazing sunsets 😊

Such a lovely welcome from the family when we arrived. The garden is beautiful and we spent quite a few hours just sitting and relaxing. Our room was large, very clean, comfortable beds and hot showers. Breakfast was included and excellent with a choice of local items. The location is perfect for seeing the castle and there are day trips available. Veranda B&B is definitely one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! Book it!
