Staying in this hotel unexpectedly became the highlight of the trip to Switzerland. The view from the room was stunning - from sunrise to sunset, it has the best view in Zermatt. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great too. We also like the cool entrance to the hotel. It was a superb experience staying there.

The standard of the room was high and immaculate. With a large veranda facing the other building and parking. What we didn't know was that the hotel had its own beer and brewery. Not a downer that either!

Unique building with bags of character. Short uphill walk to Arolla (get off at La Monta if taking the bus) Peaceful, with nice gardens and surroundings. The room itself was quiet and clean. Hot showers were welcome!

The host was very helpful with any issue I had. Kitchen is very well stocked. Cabin was quiet and cosy. Great location with an easy walk to town. Lovely to sit on the front verandah and watch the mountains and the parasailors landing.

A beautiful hotel located along the lake, 5-10 minutes walking from Bus Stop, having an awesome breakfast on the balcony facing the lake was a great gift. Lovely balcony with a flower hanger, spacious bathroom (with tub), comfortable side table, handy table fan. Tips to note: a) Get the city card b) electric adapter by depositing 10 CHF c) sunset walk towards the hotel d) evening trip to Iseltwald (a lovely lakeside area). Nice guy, explained the breakfast items and enquired if we are happy.

What an excellent hotel. On arrival Celine (the manager) greeted us like friends who were coming to stay in her house. She is a happy and very helpful manager for whom nothing is too much trouble. She upgraded our room, and booked us dinner in a restaurant by the lake in Spiez. The room was impeccably clean, with a balcony from which we could watch the sunset over the mountains. This hotel is thoroughly recommended, and I would love to return.
