I really loved the genuity of the place, truly local food and clean though simple lodgings. Compared to the other camps, the location of the camp in the desert is further from the village, so if you want to get the feeling of remoteness, go for it. I had never experienced such piece and quiet in my life as I did there. Mahmoud - the guide - is an experienced nice guy with plenty of knowledge of the local customs and is sensitive to visitors´ needs. While touring through the desert, he made us a delicious lunch and answered anything we asked about the Jordan culture or family traditions.

for this price, you can’t complain. staff was friendly, room and bathroom were clean. not in great shape, but clean. pickup was easy, communication was excellent via whatsapp. food was great!!

Eid and Motaz were excellent hosts and tour guides. We were greeted by Eid at the car park and then driven to the camp which is 4 bubble tents all with air con and ensuite. The food was excellent (and cooked in the ground) and the star gazing was fantastic with no light pollution. We also did the jeep tour to both the north and south areas which was stunning and a lot of fun.

What can I say about our stay at Wadi Rum Star Camp?! Ahmed and his brother and father made us feel so welcome and part of the family. Our 6 and 7 year old girls had the best time, and so did we. We will remember everything... the breathtaking scenery and sunsets, the evening fire and Ahmed's stories about the Bedouin lifestyle, the stars, the wonderful tour in the desert, the food and more. We just couldn't get our girls out of the sand dunes to leave :) Strongly recommend booking 2 nights, not just 1 (especially if you have kids).

This place is nice! People are great, friendly, always helpful. They helped us to find a bus to reach Petra. Also, food is delicious (breakfast and dinner) , real beduin experience. Recommend this camp!

Mars on earth camp is a very authentic beduin Camp. Ali was extremely friendly and you had many options, what you can do in the desert! Food was local and very good. You can park your car at their private parking site. After that you drive with the jeep through desert at the camp. They welcome you as family at their camp. Highly can recommend Mars on earth camp you will love it!
