Die Unterkunft Mara Green Heart ist gelegen in Sekenani. Die Unterkunft hat Stadtblick und Bergblick. Diese Zelt-Lodge ist versehen mit einem Flachbild-TV. Super location with tents spaced out between private winding paths on a hill with a view. Dining area with fireplace and washroom. Tents with washroom also. Great dinner was an added bonus. This was super for a group of work colleagues visiting the park.

Small (3 tents, one of which is a large family tent), intimate, charming camp, unfenced, ideally located, in the north conservancy, just 5 minutes from the Maasai Mara’s Musiara gate entrance, 15 minutes from the air strip. Completely local ownership and management, which we highly value and one of the reasons we chose this, together with the location and the small size. We had tent 3, high on stilts, large, private, wooden floors, huge netted windows, outside deck all around, unobstructed views on the savannah. Big comfortable bed with good mattress, en-suite bathroom with toilet and huge shower, running water. Electricity and hot water are solar - electricity is around the clock, so maybe the camp tops it up at night with a generator, but we never heard one. Large, charming traditional mess tent, with bar area, and extra lounge, wonderful outdoor deck with fire pit, small plunge pool with deck chairs. Food was excellent, they will apparently cater to dietary needs but have a fixed menu. Most meals in the mess tent, some scenically set in the bush. All drinks were included as was daily laundry. Highly knowledgeable and dedicated guides (William the owner, and Alex), game drives were mostly inside the park and arranged as and when we wished, with picnic breakfast and/or lunch, or not, as we wished. Park fees were included which made the offer we got superb value for money. We had been on safari several times almost 4 decades ago when luxury safaris were mobile or semi-permanent tented camps, small, unfenced, only with simple drop toilets and hot bucket showers, communication only via radio, bush cooking, communal mess tent and fire pit… but with an abundance of local staff delivering perfect, exclusive service. That’s the feeling we were looking for again and this is the closest we found on our trip to Kenya: very similar traditional, exclusive safari feeling , experience and charm, with great service, modern comforts, but no excesses and low imprint.

From the tents to the views from the tents where we would sleep, the food, and most importantly the staff, everything and everyone were just perfect!

From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Our guide, Isaac, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the most unforgettable experience we’ve ever had. Their knowledge, patience, and passion for the wildlife and local culture made every game drive truly special. Traveling with two young children (ages 5 and 7), we were amazed by how attentive and kind everyone was with them. The staff made sure our kids were comfortable, safe, and happy at all times — treating them as part of the Entumoto family. The camp itself is beautiful, with stunning views of the Masa Mara reservation, comfortable tents, and delicious meals served in a warm, family-like atmosphere. We left Entumoto Camp with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a strong desire to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for giving us such a remarkable experience.

Tolle Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Ausblick über die hügelige Landschaft. Alles ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und die Masai sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie haben mir viel über ihre Kultur beigebracht und ich habe die inkludierten Ausflüge sehr genossen. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und am Abend wird am Lagerfeuer erzählt und gelacht. Thank you for everything!

I'm glad I could spend two nights at this good place, I wish it had been longer. The staff were very kind and caring, willing to share knowledge about the place, people and the surrounding nature.This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of civilization. The simplicity of the spacious tents with minimalist, comfortable furnishings offers a glimpse into the lives of ancient travelers. A glimpse because you have electricity and own well equipped bathroom. The distance between the tents and the rich vegetation provide privacy and a sense of close proximity to nature, you can hear the voices of animals and birds, or enjoy the opportunity to observe some of them while sitting on the terrace of the tent. Thanks to all the staff for their care and good sense of humor, especially to the chef who, in addition to serving delicious European dishes, gave us the opportunity to try exquisite African cuisine.

Inmitten des Naturschutzgebiets Masai Mara begrüßt Sie das Fig Tree Camp - Maasai Mara am Ufer des Flusses Talek. Jambo, Hands down the trip of a life time! At the heart of the trip is the amazing Fig Tree Camp. The camp is surrounded by wildlife. Hippos and baboons can be seen from the safety of your riverside tent. Make sure to bring a set of ear plugs as the hippos are extremely loud during twilight hours. Hyena can also be heard at night time with their signature ‘whoo up’ sounds. The camp is situated on the Talek River which makes it situated in the heart of the habitat of local wildlife. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, food is amazing and the pool is handy in between game drives. The bar area is a fantastic place to talk to other visitors about your experiences while enjoying coffee or a bottle of Tusker or Two, be sure to try a cocktail made by the Maasai Maras number one mixologist Gideon and his assistants. Where to start with the game drives. This has to be hands down the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. A four day game drive gave me the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ and everything else the Maasai Mara had to offer. The highlight of the trip has to be watching a large male Lion steal a kill from a clan of Hyena at sunrise. I was also fortunate enough to see three week old Lion cubs and four separate Leopards. A lioness was also chased into the bush by a herd of elephants and unbeknown, a Black Rhino came hurtling out of the bush. My guide and guardian Johnathan was on point everyday and knew where to find the local wildlife. I also had the opportunity to visit a Maasai Village and experience the culture of the legendary Maasai Warriors.
