The overall experience in the dessert was a one in a lifetime experience. Ali and his family were very warm and welcome. They explained to us about the life of the Bedouin and we had an insightful discussion about the Omani culture. The place is super serene, magical full of stars in the evening. The food was great and delicious including the breakfast as well. Ali is a great host and we would come back and visit again for sure.

Sand dunes all around you form the décor for a great stay in the desert. Several Bedouin tents all with luxury beds, electricity and running water are at the guest’s disposal. For those who don’t want to relax they can go sleighing from the highest dune while the occasional camel observes your performance. When the night falls a delicious meal is served and after that you can gather around the campfire to share your stories. Don’t miss the beautiful sight of the sun rising over the sand dunes. Salem and his team have really made this into a wonderful place to experience the desert.
