Everything! Expectations were far exceeded. The peace and quiet, neatness, cleanliness, the pool and beautiful view and how well equipped our unit was. They thought of everything! Also looooved the tub in the bathroom and bed was super comfortable.

Very well appointed self catering unit. Immersed in nature, very relaxing just lazing in the pool and having the wildlife casually grazing nearby. Aesthetics of the unit tie in very well with the surroundings.
The host is very friendly and helpful and always available to assist with any queries or requests.
We visited in 2023 and were surprised and pleased upon our return at what seemed to be an upgrade and maintenance of all the features and amenities.
The ultimate "better than glamping experience" in my opinion.
Perfect for enjoying sunset (or sunrise!!) cocktails, enjoying your own heated splash pool at any time of the day, braaiing and relaxing by the fire while immersed in nature while still also close enough to nearby shops and attractions. Will definitely go back time and again!
This was my second stay here and it was even nicer than the first time, despite the freezing weather: wildebeest at the waterhole against the glorious Highveld sunset, zebras at dawn all round - bliss! The gas heater & lovely blankets kept me perfectly snug, and the outdoor shower was lovely & warm, much more comfortable than I expected.

The place is spotlessly clean, absolutely everything is provided, all you need to take with you is your food. The staff are very humble, friendly and most willing to help in every way. The tents are beautifully laid out, well planned and organised. We will go back as soon as we can!!I

Absolutely fantastic experience! Real-feel of being in nature. The view from our tent was amazing. We hiked multiple times and saw many different birds and even heard the lions from the Lion Safari Park. The host Derrick and his dogs (Raven, Taz and Domino) were all extremely friendly. Really peaceful environment perfect for someone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

My second visit to Beka Idube. And I'm loving the experience. I can say Beka Idube is my choice for a weekend away. Comfortable driving distance from Johannesburg. The tents give you the best of both worlds - luxury and nature. Clean, well maintained. Everything your may need is provided. Every tent has a small heated pool. The tents are well positioned so you have your privacy. The owners are very friendly and treat the guests like family. Highly recommended.
