Amazing location composed of cottages and domes on the highest dunes. Perfect to see both sunrise and sunset and to enjoy the desert experience. We tried both the cottage and the dome and we liked the dome much more. Nice restaurant with good selection of food both for dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff. Chance to make different types of activities - dune bashing at sunset much recommended!

We were reaally glad we booked Moon Light Camp! Easy transfer for 5 OMR one way, arranged a little in advance. Dinner was amazing and well worth the money. When we saw the location of most of the other camps-one next to the other..not really in the desert-you really want to stay at a place a little further away from it all like Moon Light Camp. Thanks for the great stay!!:)

Sultan was an amazing host — very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He gave us a great tour of the desert and made the whole experience unforgettable. The tent was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully set up with everything we needed. The atmosphere at night under the stars was magical.

The staff was very friendly, the stay exceeded our expectations. The dome is fully equipped, and has all the comfort despite being in the desert. We did a 30 min quad ride in the morning which was great to see the desert. There were even more activities offered but we didn't manage to participate in all of them.

The place was in the middle of the desert and it was very quiet, the room was very nice and the most important thing was the bed , I don’t find a comfortable sleep like it in oman. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the quantity was large. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Thank you, especially Hamid.

An excellent experience! The hospitality at the accommodation was warm and welcoming, and the food exceeded all expectations – truly delicious. A special thanks to the host’s son, who showed us around the city and the desert, giving us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture. We also had a memorable camel ride at a neighboring location. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Bidiya Desert Camp. Mr Abdullah was a super lovely host, even upgrading us to a better room than we booked. A reason I booked this place was because reviews said you can reach there without a 4x4. We did get stuck in the sand in our little car, but Mr Abdullah expertly got our car out. We could have avoided getting unstuck if we went on the road that was harder packed sand or took air out of our tyres. But Mr Abdulla did meet us at the point where we needed to turn onto the better road, but because we didn't have reception, didn't know he was waiting for us there to help. We also got dinner and breakfast which was great. And did the sunset Jeep tour, which I also recommend. I would 100% recommend this place for a night in the desert to anyone.
